This season our daughter earned a varsity spot at her high school and was placed in the top pairing for her first match -- a huge milestone that reflects the foundation built during her time at American Beach.

She always comes home from practice with stories about what she learned, encouragement from the coaches, and the fun of competing alongside everyone. American Beach didn't just help her improve -- it gave her a genuine love for the sport.

After just one summer, we were impressed not only that our son could now hang when playing on the sand with his parents and had made MAJOR gains, but more importantly that Ian and the other coaches had taken him and the other kids under their wing and he was leaning growth mindset, perseverance, how to encourage and play like a team and many other life skills. Our tough to manage and sometimes negative daughter started when she was 8 and has been transformed in the way she sees herself and her willingness to "do hard things". She went into it because we told her she had to and now she loves volleyball and can't wait to go do her best. Both kids have thrived in this program and our oldest even played in a few beach tournament. Even though he didn't take first place, he's is excited and committed to keep improving and thanks to American beach I'm sure his dad and I only had a short period of time before he is squashing us on the beach volleyball court!

FUN
Kids need to have fun and enjoy themselves. My two kids have come home wanting to go back for more! Yes... they loved it and enjoyed the staff and training instructors. Fun is critical for kids... Yes, they are serious about volleyball but understand that kids needs to have fun!

SKILLS TRAINING
Our two kids 16 and 14 (boy and a girl), have come home with a better understanding of passing, hitting, serving, blocking, defense, setting, serve/receive, defensive strategy, attack strategy, service routine, serving strategy and more. I can not say enough about this club.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
My kids have come back understanding more about being a good leader. The talks and feedback that the training instructors and staff have given my kids has been so positive. Highly recommend!
